embankment, a messy situation. you have to watch for penndot here you can see them assisting with the accident. we have new information on the vehicle fire chopper 6 is heading to the scene southbound on the northeast extension past quakertown exit 44 blocking all lanes, now we have one lane getting by on the northeast extension southbound. if you don't want to sit through the slow go take 309 it runs parallel to the northeast southbound. no problem on the tacony-palmyra and area bridges look good. we have an accident garfield avenue at stuben drive. watch for re-- restrictions there. homicide detectives are trying to track down four suspects in connection with a deadly shooting of a boy riding a bike. it happened in strawberry mansion yesterday.
police say a surviving teen told them he and the teenage victim had an altercation with four men in the silver buick which they thought had drove away. two of the occupants got out and 17 shots were fired and hit the victim in the back. >> it could be a road rage incident, but 17 shots is a lot of shots to fire at two kids on a bike. >> no arrests have been mailed. police have a person in custody in connection with the shooting death of a man, shots rang out in logan victim was shot in the head 3 times. >> as soon as victim answered the door, that's when the shots
rang out and the victim was shot in the head numerous time. >> police arrested the 29-year-old suspect five blocks away, the suspect and the victim had a disagreement earlier in the day. this is viewer video of the 500 block of clinton street in camden. the fire was coming from the second floor of a home. they got the fire out in 15 minutes. investigators are working on the scene to determine what caused the flames. investigation into a apartment complex in montgomery county. this fire broke out on the 1900 block of sandy hill road in plymouth meeting saturday night. one woman was killed in the three-alarm fire. the flames destroyed 18 apartments and left 30 people displaced. the fire chief said there were working smoke alarms, but no sprinkler systems and the fire

ride from oaks to 202 and 422. here's the boulevard, southbound traffic a little extra volume as you head toward the schuylkill expressway. no major problems no accidents on the boulevard. looking good so far. starting to see slowing on i-95. this is southbound traffic at cottman, you can see how you're heavy at cottman and the volume building from the betsy ross bridge to girard. we have a 20 minute ride on i-95 southbound from woodhaven to the vine. starting to see the roads slow up. going back to the live scene. i'm watching it pull away just yet. this is the northeast extension chopper 6 showing they have the vehicle hooked up. hopefully they clear that momentarily. we've been talking about a touch of fog in lancaster looking better there. we noticed five mile in millville. there are a couple of spots in burlington and camden county new jersey where we are picking up fog, as well. don't be surprised if you see that heading out.

blue route we have police and penndot on the the scene. an accident involving the deer. the car itself went off the roadway into the woods. a messy situation on the blue route northbound. watch for a lane we stricted there. the ben franklin bridge -- restricted there. ben franklin bridge westbound traffic looking okay, eastbound traffic a lane blocked with construction crews. northeast extension it was a vehicle fire they put the vehicle on the flat bed tow truck northeast extension past exit 44. it's a slow go there, stick to 309 as the alternate. they are clearing the accident out with the vehicle fire. hopefully things improving quickly. gwynedd township garfield and stuben drive an accident there. 309 southbound at knapp road police with two vehicles off to
the side watch for that on 309. >> breaking news coming in from north philadelphia. about a half-hour ago there was an armed home invasion, the suspect got into the home on west glen avenue. he fled the scene and fired numerous shots as he made his way down glenwood avenue fleeing. there were no reports of injuries. police are on the scene, we'll bring you the latest if we get more details. parents in a chester county community are glad they did a candy check when kids came home from trick or treating. they say there were needles in the sweets. police are looking into the complaints. let's go over to katherine scott with the latest. this is what parents fear, katherine. >> reporter: that's right, tam, nobody was hurt in all this. police have found several needles in the candy. >> there were needles inside

everybody. >> what we're doing we are interviewing the people who reported the incident. we're trying to figure out where they were trick or treating at and trying to get more information from them. >> reporter: right now, investigators are examining the candy they are trying to fowfort fowfort -- figure out if they can get dna evidence or determine whether the candy was tampered with in the store or a home. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> new this morning, two clerks at a market in reading returned fire during a robbery killing two robbers. three masked men walked into the market. one fired a pistol. who employees pulled out their own guns and shot back. the lone surviving robber grabbed money out of the register and ran off. the berks county district attorney does not expect to file charges against the workers. detectives believe a
shooting in the mantua section was related to road rage. it happened on north 38th street. a 22-year-old man was shot in the foot after getting into a fight with two other men. the victim was treated at presbyterian hospital no arrests have been made. we have new information on the russian plane disaster. metro jet the company operating the airbus has ruled out technical false or pilot error or he -- technical faults or pilot error. instead it involves an external influence. the plane crashed over the sinai all 224 people were killed. the remainder of the bodies were transported to grief-stricken families in russia today. the emergency administration minister said he examined the data recorder and said they were in good condition. something cat traffic --

involving two vehicles that just cleared. i-95 check out these delays, 47 minute ride that's huge at this hour, i-95 southbound from woodhaven to the vine. 47 minutes. southbound at cottman not moving bad at all. a minute ago it was 49 minutes, huge delays on i-95. we saw huge delays on the northeast extension, chopper 6 was overhead southbound on the northeast extension there you can see the problem, a vehicle fire. that vehicle burnt out. they have it on a flat bed tow truck. the problem was northeast extension southbound past quakertown was blocked for quite a while. now traffic is moving, it has since cleared we were watching they pulled the tow truck out and cleared the scene. they are getting thinner right now. so things are improving. i want to take you to the boulevard, slow traffic
approaching the schuylkill expressway. heavy traffic on the schuylkill expressway westbound and the boulevard southbound leading to the schuylkill you're seeing slow traffic there. we had a touch of fog in one or two spots. 5-mile in millville and wildwood. ten miles at philadelphia international. 53 degrees we're talking about a warm week ahead. 68 degrees for the high clouds and sun. >> all chipotle restaurants in oregon and washington state are closed while health officials investigate an e coli outbreak. two dozen people are sick and the numbers are expected to rise. one customer who believes he got sick from the flu has been told the specific strain request not be treated with antibiotics. >> i've never been sick like that this, the pain, my abdomin feels like your guts are being ripped out. the worst part is there's nothing to be done to treat it.
